About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join their expanding team in Stoke-on-Trent . You will be responsible for planning daily routes, managing driver schedules, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize daily delivery routes for a fleet of vehicles, considering efficiency, cost, and delivery timeframes.
• Allocate drivers and vehicles to specific routes, ensuring compliance with working hour regulations.
• Monitor the progress of deliveries in real-time and proactively address any disruptions or delays.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse teams, and customer service departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain accurate records of planned journeys, mileage, and fuel consumption.
