We’re supporting a well-established haulage business looking for an experienced Container Transport Planne r to join their transport team. This is a key role within a fast-paced operation, ideal for someone confident in container logistics and daily planning.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for planning and coordinating around 50+ container vehiclesacross the fleet, ensuring efficient utilisation, on-time performance, and clear communication with drivers and customers. You’ll use TOPS daily to manage workloads and respond quickly to operational changes.
Requirements
- Previous container planning experience (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of TOPS (essential)
- Background in haulage / container transport operations
- Solid understanding of UK WTD laws
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
