Transport Planner
We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our client in their Transport Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-organised and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and coordinating daily transport operations.
* Ensuring deliveries are scheduled efficiently and cost-effectively.
* Maintaining accurate transport records and documentation.
* Liaising with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
* Resolving transport issues and supporting the wider transport team.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Transport Planner or in a similar transport/logistics role.
* Strong IT skills with a high level of competence in Microsoft Excel.
* SAP experience is desirable but not essential.
* Previous experience working in a traffic, warehousing, or logistics environment is preferred.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Working Hours:
* Sunday to Thursday
* 6:00am – 2:30pm
* 40 hours per week
Salary:
* £27,622.40 per annum (non-negotiable)
