A day includes:

• Communicating with all required departments and support functions to ensure a smooth and timely operation
• Working with Transport Planning to find solutions where required
• Scheduling drivers and mates into the transport schedule ensuring legal rest breaks are adhered to at all times
• Communicating with drivers and mates to ensure start times are met
• Maintaining and updating driver and mate capability planners and forecasting tools to ensure required cover is achieved
• Working with our driver provider to ensure the plan is covered

What you’ll need:

• Previous resource planning experience within a transport environment (essential)
• Knowledge and understanding of WTD and EU regulations
• Flexible approach to performing other duties within the transport operation as requested by your Line Manager
• Attention to detail
• Calm approach in a time‑pressured environment
• Excellent time and attendance record
• Intermediate experience of MS Excel and Word and Outlook
• Confident and outgoing personality to communicate with driver and mates
