Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop road layouts, junction improvements, and traffic management schemes.
• Conduct traffic modeling and analysis to predict traffic flows and assess the impact of developments.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and reports for transportation projects.
• Coordinate with local authorities and highways agencies to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Oversee construction phases, providing technical support and ensuring adherence to design intent.
• Contribute to the planning and design of sustainable transport options, including cycling and pedestrian infrastructure.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related transportation discipline.
• Proven experience in transportation engineering, including road design and traffic analysis.
• Proficiency in traffic modeling software (e.g., VISSIM , SIDRA) and CAD packages.
• Strong understanding of DMRB (Design Manual for Roads and Bridges) and other relevant standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• Experience in public consultation and stakeholder engagement is advantageous.
