About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Transportation Civil Engineer to join their team in Wolverhampton, West Midlands . This role is focused on the planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, and public transport networks. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop transportation infrastructure projects, including road alignment, junction design, and traffic management systems.
• Utilize specialist transportation planning and modelling software.
• Prepare design reports, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Conduct traffic impact assessments and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate with local authorities, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase of transportation projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related transportation discipline.
• Proven experience in transportation engineering, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
• Proficiency in transportation design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and traffic modelling tools (e.g., PTV Vissim).
• Good understanding of traffic engineering principles and highway design standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid capacity, contributing to projects in and around Wolverhampton .
