Travel Reservations Manager - Birmingham - £35k-£40k
Platinum Travel Recruitment or collaborating with a forward thinking and dynamic travel company who are now seeking and experienced Travel Reservations Manager to join it’s supportive and friendly team.
This is an exciting role ideal for a team leader, supervisor or manager with experience in the travel industry within a tour operator or travel agent.

Travel Reservations Manager Duties:
* Support the Reservations Manager in the effective day-to-day running and management of the Reservations Department.
* Promote and drive the sales to support marketing campaigns, airlines of the month, cruise lines of the month, preferred airlines and key suppliers.
* Supporting to achieve monthly revenue, commission and land targets, whilst ensuring consistently high levels of customer service.
* Assist to coach & develop the Reservations team to ensure best practice in sales and performance.
* Through own self development and training maintain up to date knowledge of products and Industry developments.
Travel Reservations Manager - Essential Requirements:
* Management experience within the travel industry for a tour operator such as a travel sales manager, team leader and/or supervisor is essential
* Customer & Travel Agent focused
* To be able to communicate effectively
* Be able to manage and motivate a team
* Excellent product & system knowledge including Amadeus, Travelport, Vibe & Dolphin.
* To create a team culture that thrive to make improvements to the service provided
