About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Treasury Analyst to join their finance department in Reading . This hybrid role focuses on managing the company's liquidity, cash flow, and financial risk exposures, ensuring the firm has adequate financial resources to meet its obligations and strategic goals. You will play a key role in optimizing cash management, FX hedging, and short-term investment activities within the banking and finance sector. This position offers a great opportunity to gain broad exposure to treasury operations and contribute to the financial stability of a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and forecast daily cash positions and manage working capital efficiently.
- Execute funding and investment strategies in line with treasury policies.
- Support the management of foreign exchange exposures through hedging strategies.
- Prepare treasury reports, including cash flow forecasts, risk analyses, and performance metrics.
- Maintain relationships with banking partners and other financial institutions.
- Assist in the implementation and use of treasury management systems (TMS).
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a treasury, corporate finance, or banking role.
- Good understanding of cash management, foreign exchange, and financial markets.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with treasury management systems is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
