Treasury Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join their finance department in Nottingham . This role is responsible for supporting the treasury function, focusing on cash management, liquidity planning, and financial risk mitigation. You will assist in managing banking relationships, executing foreign exchange transactions, and ensuring the company has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of treasury operations and financial markets, contributing to the financial stability and efficiency of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily cash management activities, including cash flow forecasting and monitoring.
• Support the execution of foreign exchange transactions and manage currency exposures.
• Help maintain and develop relationships with banking partners.
• Prepare treasury reports, analyses, and ad-hoc financial information for management.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of treasury policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a treasury, finance, or accounting role.
• Familiarity with treasury operations, cash management, and financial instruments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
