Treasury Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent Treasury Analyst to join their remote finance team. While ideally based within commuting distance of Edinburgh , this role is fully remote, offering flexibility across the UK. You will be responsible for managing the company's cash flow, optimizing liquidity, and supporting various treasury operations. This position is crucial for maintaining the financial stability and operational efficiency of the company, requiring a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of financial markets. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily cash positions, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
• Assist in executing short-term investments and managing banking relationships.
• Support the preparation of cash flow forecasts and financial projections.
• Help in the management of foreign exchange exposures and hedging strategies.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to treasury operations.
• Assist with the analysis of financial risks and the development of mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather data and provide treasury support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or a banking role.
• Familiarity with cash management systems, financial markets, and investment instruments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
