Treasury Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Treasury Analyst to join their finance department in Sheffield . This role is integral to managing the company's cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk exposures. You will be involved in cash forecasting, managing banking relationships, executing foreign exchange transactions, and supporting debt management activities. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor daily cash positions and execute funding and investment transactions as needed.
• Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
• Assist in the execution of foreign exchange transactions to hedge currency risk.
• Support the management of the company's debt facilities and investment portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies and procedures, and assist in financial risk management.
• Reconcile treasury transactions and prepare relevant reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in treasury, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Understanding of cash management, liquidity management, and financial markets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; experience with treasury management systems (TMS) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to manage bank relationships.
