About the Role

Our client, a respected charity focused on advancing critical research, is seeking an experienced Trusts and Foundations Manager to enhance their funding portfolio in Wolverhampton . This hybrid role involves identifying, cultivating, and securing significant funding from grant-making trusts and foundations. You will play a key role in articulating the charity’s vision and impact to potential funders, ensuring the continuation and expansion of their vital work. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of grant applications and a passion for enabling impactful charitable projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic plan to increase funding from trusts and foundations.
• Research and identify suitable funding opportunities that align with the charity's objectives.
• Write compelling and persuasive grant proposals, reports, and supporting documentation for submission.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with existing and prospective trust and foundation contacts.
• Ensure compliance with all grant requirements and manage reporting obligations effectively.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in trusts and foundations fundraising within the charity sector.
• Proven success in securing grants from major trusts and foundations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive arguments.
• Strong research, analytical, and project management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model , balancing office-based collaboration with remote work, particularly in the Wolverhampton area.
