Tutor (Core Subjects, SEN & EHCP Support)
Hampshire County area needed.
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Tutor to provide face-to-face tuition in students' homes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping young people build confidence and achieve academic progress across core subjects.
Role Responsibilities
Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition in core subjects (English, Maths, and Science)
Adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs and abilities
Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Work with students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
Build positive relationships with students and families
Track progress and provide feedback where required
Travel to students' homes for in-person sessionsRequirements
Minimum 2 years' tutoring or teaching experience
Strong knowledge of core curriculum subjects
Experience supporting students with SEN and working with EHCPs is essential
Comfortable working face-to-face in students' homes
Full UK driving licence and access to transport preferred
Flexible and reliable with availability during school hours
Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week
Desirable Qualifications
PGCE and/or QTS
Additional SEN qualifications or training Pay£25-£40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Hampshire County area needed.
