Uckfield MDS Hub – Production Operative (Pharmaceutical)
Waremoss Group- Our MDS production hub in Uckfield is recruiting
Our dispensing hub is a production based pharmacy environment to help support our community pharmacies by assembling Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) for their patients and dispatching the assembled packs back to branch.
Hours:
1) Monday – Friday 9am-6pm (1hour unpaid lunch break)
2) Monday-Friday 1pm-6pm
We also welcome applicants to apply that are looking to work 2/3 consecutive days at the beginning/end of the week to create a job share. There is no regular weekend work!
Starting rate of pay: Up to £12.30 per hour
About the Role
We’re looking for reliable and detail-focused individual to join our busy pharmacy production hub asPharmaceutical Production Operative . This environment is clean and fast-paced, working with machines and manual processes to ensure the safe and accurate assembly of medication packs.
Key Responsibilities
- Removing medication from original packaging using a de-blistering machine
- Refilling machine canisters with medication
- Using IT systems and automation machines to assemble medication packs
- Performing basicquality checks to ensure accuracy and safety
- Packaging and preparing medication for dispatch
- Ordering stock and managing inventory
- Responding to queries from pharmacies via email and phone
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to stand and move throughout the shift
- Comfortable following set processes and quality standards
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Basic computer skills
- Able to work to targets and under time pressure
- Previous production or pharmacy experience is helpful but not required – full training provided
