Job Description
The Finance Manager will lead the day-to-day finance function for Certania Aquico-UK Ltd and co-ordinate extensively with both Group Finance in Munich and the UK subsidiary Finance Leaders, taking ownership of financial operations, statutory reporting and treasury activities while providing support to integration & tax structuring projects as required. The role will work closely with the Interim CFO, with the expectation of developing into the primary UK finance lead over time.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day treasury function across the UK group. Prepare monthly management accounts and oversee month-end close. Maintain bookkeeping activities and accurate financial records for Certania Aquico-UK Ltd. Manage cash reporting, rolling cash flow forecasts and group cash pooling. Support working capital management and identify cash optimisation opportunities. Coordinate statutory reporting and Group consolidation submissions. Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors including preparation of UK Group Consolidated Accounts for UK parent company. Support acquisition accounting and Support development of financial close processes and accurate reporting for subsidiaries where needed. Monitor subsidiary compliance and co-ordinate implementation of group wide financial control and policy matters as applicable to the UK team. Provide budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis as appropriate.
Relationships
Reports to: Interim UK CFO Works closely with UK Finance Leads, Group Finance, external auditors and advisers.
Person Specification
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent experience. Experience in management accounts, statutory reporting and treasury. Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills. Comfortable working independently within a growing multi-entity environment.

Accurate and timely monthly reporting. Effective management of treasury and cash reporting. Successful delivery of the annual audit. Reliable Group reporting and consolidation
