Head of Credit Card Proposition. Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define, prioritize and own the end-to-end Credit Card proposition backlog for the UK market
- Translate customer needs, competitive landscape and financial objectives into a clear multi-year roadmap
Required Qualifications & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of unsecured-lending products and the UK credit-card market
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management across credit, conduct and operational dimensions
- Solid understanding of UK regulatory framework for unsecured lending (e.g., CONC, CCA)
- Analytical and strategic thinking: ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and translate strategy into actionable plans and initiatives
- Commercial acumen with a track record of developing and managing profitable propositions
- Excellent verbal and written communication—able to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences
- Proven success leading product-life-cycle processes within a matrixed, multi-stakeholder environment
- Exceptional influencing skills with senior leaders and governance forums
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years in proposition management, commercial strategy or marketing of financial services products
- Experience working in or alongside credit-risk and compliance functions
