About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a strategic and analytical Underwriting Manager to lead their underwriting team in Birmingham . This role is instrumental in assessing and managing risk for new and existing insurance policies, ensuring the company's profitability and adherence to risk appetite. You will be responsible for developing and implementing underwriting strategies, guiding a team of underwriters, and collaborating with other departments to refine product offerings. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Significant experience in insurance underwriting, with a proven track record in managing underwriting teams.

• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII) are highly desirable.
