Principal Education is looking for passionate, enthusiastic and reliable individuals to work as Unqualified Teachers and Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across London.

These are flexible, daily supply roles , giving you the freedom to choose when you"re available to work, with opportunities for ongoing roles also available.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you\'ll take responsibility for a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a safe, positive and productive learning environment.

You won\'t be expected to plan or teach lessons , but you will play an important role in supporting pupils with their learning, engagement and behaviour.

What You MUST demonstrate

• Right to work in the UK
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Flexibility, adaptability and confidence to think on your feet
• A calm and professional approach under pressure
• An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service , or willingness to complete a new application
• Overseas police clearance if you have lived abroad for 6+ months within the last 5 years
• Based in London or within a commutable distance

Pay & Benefits

• £120-£140 per day for flexible daily cover, depending on experience
• Higher pay rates available for ongoing roles , aligned with the unqualified teacher pay scale (see guidance here)
