Unqualified Teaching Assistant - September Start
Location: NP26 (Caldicot)
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: £92.63 per day Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools across the NP26 (Caldicot) area from September. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in starting a career in education and gaining valuable classroom experience. No previous school-based experience is required. You will join supportive school environments where you'll assist teachers, support pupils' learning and development, and build the skills needed for a rewarding career within education.
About the Role
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
- Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to support learning.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help create an inclusive learning environment.
- Assist pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
- Help prepare learning resources and classroom materials.
- Gain hands-on experience in a school setting while developing key educational skills.

Previous experience working with children, in customer service, coaching, care, youth work or similar settings is beneficial but not essential. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn are the most important qualities for this role.
