Job Title: Upholsterer
Location: Telford
Salary: DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30-16:30 (Early finish on a Friday)
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
About the Role
We're recruiting a skilled Upholsterer to join a growing furniture manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for upholstering a variety of products, from frames to finished pieces, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Upholstering furniture frames using foams, fabrics, leathers, and trims
- Cutting materials to size using hand and power tools
- Fitting webbing, springs, padding, and coverings
- Completing repairs, refurbishments, and re-upholstery work
- Working to production schedules and quality standards
- Maintaining tools and reporting any issues
What We're Looking For
- Proven upholstery experience (traditional or modern techniques)
- Confident using pneumatic staple guns, cutting tools, and upholstery equipment
- Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to read job sheets and follow instructions
- Good physical stamina and manual handling capability
