Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Upstream Business Development Manager to drive growth within their oil and gas portfolio, operating remotely with a focus on the UK and European markets. This senior role involves identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and evaluating potential acquisitions or joint ventures. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess new business opportunities, including exploration acreage, field acquisitions, and technology ventures.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for business growth in the upstream oil and gas sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential partners, governments, and other industry stakeholders.
- Conduct commercial analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence for potential transactions.
- Negotiate terms for joint ventures, acquisitions, and commercial agreements.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience in business development, strategy, or commercial roles within the oil and gas industry .
- Proven track record in identifying, evaluating, and executing commercial deals.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a remote, international environment.
