About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and analytical Urban Designer to join their team in Portsmouth . You will work on a range of strategic planning and design projects, contributing to masterplans, design codes, and development frameworks. Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategic vision and design proposals for urban regeneration and development projects.
• Prepare masterplans, concept designs, and design guidelines for new developments and public spaces.
• Conduct site analysis, spatial planning, and feasibility studies.
• Engage with stakeholders, including local communities, developers, and planning authorities.
• Promote high-quality design and sustainability principles in urban development.

Requirements

• Degree or Master's qualification in Urban Design, Architecture, Planning, or a related field.
• Experience in urban design , master planning, and strategic development.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of planning policy, development processes, and sustainability frameworks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaborative skills.
