About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and analytical UX Researcher to join their product development team in Reading . This role is essential for understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform the design of intuitive and effective digital products. Working in a hybrid model, you will conduct a variety of research methodologies, translating complex findings into actionable insights that guide product strategy and design decisions. The ideal candidate is passionate about uncovering user truths and advocating for the user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute user research studies using a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting).
- Analyze research data to identify key user insights, pain points, and opportunities.
- Synthesize findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for design and product teams.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to represent user understanding.
- Present research findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in UX research or a related field (e.g., Human Factors, HCI, Market Research).
- Proficiency in various research methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, HCI, or a related field.
