UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and empathetic UX Researcher to join their product development team in Nottingham . This role is critical in understanding user needs, behaviours, and motivations to inform the design and development of intuitive and effective digital products. You will plan and conduct various research activities, analyse findings, and present actionable insights to design and product teams. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct user research studies, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and ethnographic research.
• Analyse qualitative and quantitative research data to identify user pain points, needs, and opportunities.
• Translate research findings into actionable insights and clear, compelling reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure user insights are integrated into the product development lifecycle.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product development process, ensuring a user-centered approach.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX Researcher or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing research methodologies and impact.
• Proficiency in planning and conducting various qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate research findings effectively.
• Experience working in a hybrid team environment and a passion for understanding user behaviour in Nottingham .
