UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and user-centric UX/UI Designer to enhance the digital product experience for their users. Based in our vibrant office in Cardiff , you will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces for web and mobile applications. This role requires a deep understanding of user behaviour, usability principles, and design best practices. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and researchers to transform user needs and business requirements into seamless and effective digital solutions, contributing to a culture that values innovation and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, persona development, and journey mapping to gain insights into user needs and pain points.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide ongoing design support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve designs.
• Stay current with the latest UX/UI design trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and interaction design.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
