UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and user-focused UX/UI Designer to join their growing team in Derby . You will be involved in the entire design lifecycle, from user research and concept development to prototyping and final interface design. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, persona development, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring a consistent and positive user experience.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design work.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Experience working within an agile development framework and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale effectively.
