About the Role
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Validation Engineer to join their Quality Operations team in Stoke-on-Trent . This crucial role involves ensuring that all pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, processes, and facilities are validated to meet stringent quality and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and documenting validation protocols to support new product introductions and ongoing manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong understanding of validation principles to contribute to the reliability and compliance of pharmaceutical production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute validation protocols for equipment, processes, cleaning, and analytical methods.
- Perform qualification activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) for manufacturing equipment and utilities.
- Review and approve validation documentation, including protocols, reports, and change controls.
- Investigate and document deviations during validation activities, recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure all validation activities comply with GMP requirements and company SOPs.
- Support regulatory inspections and internal audits related to validation status.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in validation engineering within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Strong understanding of validation principles and methodologies (IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and guidelines relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
