About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Validation Engineer to join their team in Portsmouth . This role is essential for ensuring that pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, processes, and facilities meet stringent regulatory standards and maintain operational integrity. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ, to demonstrate that systems consistently perform as intended. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background and a thorough understanding of validation principles within a GMP environment, ensuring the highest levels of product quality and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute validation master plans (VMPs) and validation protocols for equipment, utilities, and processes.
- Perform Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) activities.
- Write comprehensive validation reports, summarizing test results and concluding on the validated status of systems.
- Identify and investigate any deviations or discrepancies encountered during validation activities.
- Ensure all validation activities are conducted in compliance with cGMP regulations and company SOPs.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to support validation efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a related scientific discipline.
- Proven experience in validation engineering within the pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotechnology industry.
- Thorough understanding of cGMP guidelines and validation principles (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Experience with process and equipment validation in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical writing skills and the ability to create clear, concise validation documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly for activities in Portsmouth .
