About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Validation Engineer to ensure the compliance and integrity of their pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes at their facility in Norwich . This role is crucial for guaranteeing that all systems operate as intended and meet stringent regulatory standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) . You will be responsible for developing and executing validation protocols, managing change controls, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Working directly at our Norwich site, you will be an integral part of our commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and document validation protocols for manufacturing equipment, utilities, and processes (e.g., IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Ensure all validation activities comply with current GMP regulations and company policies.
- Manage change control processes related to validated systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and investigate any deviations or failures identified during validation or routine operation.
- Maintain validation documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and readily available for audits.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to support validation efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in validation within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or a highly regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of validation principles, GMP, and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Experience with qualification and validation of pharmaceutical equipment and processes.
- Proficiency in technical writing, protocol development, and report generation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
