Conduct damage assessments and prepare precise repair estimates
Liaise effectively with insurance companies to secure repair authorisation
Carry out repairs on a variety of vehicle marques, adhering to manufacturer standards
Complete vehicle repairs independently from start to finish with high quality standards
Maintain detailed records of estimates, repair progress, and parts utilised
Collaborate with workshop colleagues and other departments to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround
Stay updated with latest repair techniques, manufacturer guidelines, and insurer policiesRequirements of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator in a busy workshop environment
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or ATA / IMI qualifications preferred but not essential
Good knowledge of repair methods, including panel repairs, welding, and jig work
Ability to work independently, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
Full UK driving licence
