We're currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic to join a successful main dealership in Preston. The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
• Completing repairs and component replacement to manufacturer standards
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks
• Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and health & safety standards
• Accurately documenting completed work
• Working closely with the workshop team to maximise productivity
• Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction

About You

We're looking for a technically capable and motivated technician who takes pride in their work. You will ideally have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Level 2 qualified Technicians with at least 2 years' hands-on workshop experience will also be considered
• Strong servicing, maintenance and mechanical repair skills
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• MOT Tester Licence - desirable but not essential
• Your own tools and toolbox
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence - subject to licence checks
• Right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available
