The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
- Completing repairs and component replacement to manufacturer standards
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks
- Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and health & safety standards
- Accurately documenting completed work
- Working closely with the workshop team to maximise productivity
- Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
About You
We're looking for a technically capable and motivated technician who takes pride in their work. You will ideally have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Level 2 qualified Technicians with at least 2 years' hands-on workshop experience will also be considered
- Strong servicing, maintenance and mechanical repair skills
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- MOT Tester Licence - desirable but not essential
- Your own tools and toolbox
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence - subject to licence checks
- Right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available
