Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership in Basingstoke. Applicants must hold a recognised qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Previous main dealership experience is desirable but not essential.

Location: Basingstoke Salary: £38,771 basic per annum plus bonus, OTE: Up to £52,841 Hours: Full Time, 4 or 5-day working options available Job Reference: 31096

Vehicle Technician Role

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Complete vehicle inspections and health checks
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults
• Complete repairs to manufacturer and dealership standards
• Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation
• Work closely with the wider Aftersales and workshop team

Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Min Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or an equivalent recognised automotive qualification
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician
• Strong vehicle servicing, maintenance, repair and diagnostic skills
