Salary dependant on experience £38000 to £50,000

We have a loyal base of repeat customers and regularly welcome new customers through word-of-mouth recommendations and referrals.

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician with extensive ' hands-on experience to join our team.

This is a genuine all-round mechanical role. We work on all makes and models, with a varied workload ranging from routine servicing and maintenance through to more involved mechanical repairs.

The Role

Varied range of mechanical work, including:

1. Servicing and routine maintenance

1. Brakes and suspension

1. Clutches and dual-mass flywheels

1. Cambelts and wet belts

1. Exhausts

1. Tyres

1. General mechanical repairs

1. Fault finding and diagnostics

1. Identifying faults and advising on the appropriate repairs

1. Working across a wide range of makes and models

Someone who is confident diagnosing faults and completing repairs, with the ability to work on jobs from start to finish.

Ideally we need the following:

1. hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic

1. Strong general mechanical knowledge

1. Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills

1. Experience working on a variety of makes and models

1. Experience carrying out a broad range of mechanical repairs

1. The ability to work confidently and efficiently without constant supervision

1. A good standard of workmanship and attention to detail

An MOT Tester licence would be beneficial but is not essential as we would put someone through their MOT training
