An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a high-performing dealership workshop. This Vehicle Technician position is ideal for someone with dealership experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and technical accuracy. As a Vehicle Technician, you will work on a wide range of vehicles using the latest diagnostic tools and manufacturer systems, supported by ongoing training and mentoring.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician

• Service, maintain, and repair vehicles in line with technical standards
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
• Carry out electronic vehicle health checks
• Conduct road tests to support fault diagnosis
• Identify additional work and obtain authorisation where required
• Liaise closely with the service team to keep them informed of progress
• Provide technical support to apprentices when requested
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop

Skills & Experience Required

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence
• Proven dealership experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic capability
• MOT Tester status (advantageous but not essential)
