Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable franchised main dealer group in Chester, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Vehicle Technician to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment. Our client offers comprehensive manufacturer training, competitive remuneration, and a range of staff benefits.
Benefits:
Basic salary of approximately £35,000 per annum, with bonus potential to achieve an OTE of £44,000
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with alternate Saturday mornings on a rota
Long service holiday entitlement enhancing annual leave
Summer and winter half days to accommodate personal commitments or family events
Complimentary holidays at the company lodge in North Wales
Access to on-site amenities including a hairdresser and recreational facilities
Opportunities for ongoing professional development including manufacturer training and online courses
Potential for further qualifications such as MOT testing
Work with a diverse range of vehicles and advanced engine management systemsDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Diagnose and repair various makes of vehicles with accuracy and professionalism
Conduct thorough vehicle assessments and identify necessary repairs
Complete servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency throughout all tasks
Keep detailed records of diagnostics, repairs, and vehicle history
Stay updated with the latest vehicle technology, systems, and manufacturer guidelines
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and provide excellent customer serviceRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with relevant dealership experience
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures
Proficient in the use of diagnostic software and tools
Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and team members
Previous experience within a dealership or main dealer environment is preferred
Qualified MOT Tester is advantageous but not essential
