New Street Vets, part of ivc, is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and experienced team as we begin an exciting new chapter alongside our sister practice, Otter Vets.

Caseload & Work Variety

No two days are the same at New Street Vets. You'll see a varied first-opinion caseload including:

• Cats
• Dogs
• Rabbits
• Small furries
• Occasional chickens
• Local wildlife

You’ll enjoy a balance of consultations and surgery, with flexibility to focus more heavily on surgery if preferred. Opportunities to share knowledge and get involved with emergency and critical care cases are plentiful.

Practice Environment

Based in a charming converted property close to Honiton's high street, New Street Vets offers a welcoming community feel combined with modern facilities:

• Dedicated consulting rooms
• Dental radiography
• Ultrasound machine
• In-house laboratory

With a refurbishment underway, it’s an exciting time to join and be part of its future development.

The Team & Culture

You will join an experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons and RVNs, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager. We value open communication and shared learning, fostering an environment where questions are encouraged, ideas exchanged, and growth supported.

Working Hours & Flexibility

Full-time hours are 40 per week, worked over four or five days. Part-time applications from 30 hours per week are also welcomed. The rota includes just 1:4 Saturday mornings (9:00am-1:00pm), with no out-of-hours or on-call duties.
