About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist to join their creative team in Portsmouth . This role combines technical editing skills with artistic flair to produce high-quality video content and animated graphics for various marketing and communication channels. Working in a hybrid capacity, you'll collaborate closely with the content and marketing teams to bring creative concepts to life, ensuring visual storytelling is both compelling and on-brand. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of pacing, and proficiency in industry-standard software.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final products, ensuring seamless storytelling and pacing.
- Create dynamic motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video content.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate creative briefs into visual assets.
- Manage video assets, ensuring proper organization and archiving.
- Incorporate feedback from revisions and deliver final video files in various formats.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, motion graphics trends, and software advancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related video editing software.
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for different platforms.
- Experience with visual effects, 3D animation (a plus), and sound design.
- Strong creative eye for composition, color, and movement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
