Video Editor - Creative Content

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and imaginative Video Editor to join their growing creative team in Bradford . In this role, you will transform raw footage into compelling visual narratives for a variety of Arts & Entertainment projects, including promotional videos, social media content, documentaries, and short films. You will work closely with directors, producers, and content creators to bring creative visions to life, ensuring high standards of technical quality and artistic integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final products according to project briefs and creative direction.
• Incorporate graphics, sound effects, music, and other elements to enhance the video content.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project goals and ensure edits meet creative expectations.
• Manage and organize large volumes of video assets and project files efficiently.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, software, and industry trends.
• Perform color correction and basic audio mixing to achieve a professional finish.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse video projects.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and post-production workflows.
• Experience with motion graphics and visual effects software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
• Strong eye for detail, pacing, and storytelling through editing.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
