About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join their dynamic production team in Portsmouth . You will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, engaging video content for various platforms, including marketing, social media, and internal communications. This role requires a strong narrative sense, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency with professional editing software. You will collaborate closely with producers, graphic designers, and marketing specialists to ensure video content aligns with brand messaging and project objectives, contributing to impactful visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage to create compelling and cohesive narratives.
- Incorporate graphics, music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance video content.
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and project specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and desired outcomes.
- Manage and organize video assets, project files, and render outputs efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and software advancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor , with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of editing styles.
- Proficiency in non-linear editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of video production principles, including storytelling, pacing, and visual flow.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
