About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join their digital content team on a contract basis. This role is perfect for a visual storyteller who can transform raw footage into engaging and polished videos for various platforms, including social media, marketing campaigns, and internal communications. Working entirely remote , you will have the flexibility to manage your projects from your own studio space. We are looking for an individual with a strong eye for detail, excellent pacing skills, and proficiency with modern editing software, who can deliver high-quality video content that aligns with brand messaging and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into cohesive and compelling final productions, ensuring high-quality visual and audio output.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, music, and sound effects to enhance video narratives and viewer engagement.
• Collaborate with the content creation team to understand project requirements and creative vision.
• Manage video assets, ensuring proper organization, archiving, and version control.
• Adapt video content for different platforms and formats, optimizing for various aspect ratios and resolutions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging video editing techniques, software, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor , with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse editing projects.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid understanding of video production workflows, post-production processes, and storytelling techniques.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines in a remote setting.
