About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and creative Videographer & Editor to join their media production team on a contract basis, based in or near Glasgow . This role is responsible for capturing high-quality video content and expertly editing it into polished final products for various marketing and communication channels. You will work on a range of projects, from corporate videos and social media content to event coverage and promotional materials. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a keen eye for detail, proficient in both filming and post-production techniques, and capable of delivering compelling video narratives that align with brand identity and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for use across digital platforms, social media, and internal communications.
• Operate professional video and audio equipment, ensuring optimal recording quality.
• Edit footage using non-linear editing software, incorporating graphics, music, and sound effects.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to understand project requirements and creative briefs.
• Manage video projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely completion.
• Stay current with video production trends, techniques, and software updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Videographer & Editor , with a portfolio showcasing diverse video projects.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience with camera operation and lighting techniques for various shooting scenarios.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work model.
