Virtual Event Coordinator - Sports

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and creative Virtual Event Coordinator specializing in sports to manage and execute online events for their global audience. This fully remote role requires a proactive individual to oversee all aspects of virtual sporting events, from planning and promotion to live execution and post-event analysis. You will ensure a seamless and engaging experience for participants, sponsors, and stakeholders, leveraging digital platforms to bring sports events to life online.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of virtual sports events, including tournaments, webinars, and virtual fan experiences.
• Manage event logistics across various online platforms, ensuring smooth technical delivery and user engagement.
• Develop event timelines, budgets, and marketing plans in collaboration with internal teams.
• Liaise with sponsors, partners, and talent to ensure their virtual event needs are met.
• Create and manage event registration processes and communications with attendees.
• Provide on-site (virtual) support during events, troubleshooting technical issues and managing live interactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning and coordination, with a strong focus on virtual or online events.
• Demonstrable passion for and knowledge of the sports industry.
• Proficiency with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Hopin, vFairs) and event management software.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment.
