Virtual Event Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for an organized and adaptable Virtual Event Coordinator to support the planning and execution of online events from Sheffield . This role involves managing various aspects of virtual gatherings, including coordinating with speakers, managing online platforms, assisting with virtual catering logistics, and ensuring a smooth attendee experience. You will be key in facilitating engaging and effective online events for diverse clients. This is an excellent part-time opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a knack for technology to contribute to the growing field of virtual events, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for virtual events, including scheduling, platform setup, and technical checks.
• Manage communication with speakers, attendees, and other stakeholders pre-event, during, and post-event.
• Assist with the coordination of virtual catering or meal kit deliveries to attendees.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during live virtual events.
• Manage online registration processes and attendee data.
• Prepare post-event reports, including feedback analysis and key metrics.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event coordination or administration, with a focus on virtual or online events.
• Familiarity with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Hopin).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills .
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, comfortable interacting online.
• Ability to multitask and manage various aspects of an event simultaneously.
• Tech-savvy with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
