About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Virtual Field Support Engineer to join their globally distributed installation and maintenance team. This role is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be instrumental in offering advanced remote technical assistance, guiding clients and internal teams through complex installation procedures, troubleshooting, and ongoing system maintenance. Your expertise in diagnosing and resolving technical issues without physical presence will be key to ensuring client satisfaction and the smooth operation of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver remote technical support for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of specialized equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems using remote access tools and diagnostic software.
• Provide clear, concise instructions and support to clients and on-site personnel.
• Maintain detailed service reports and update technical documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with remote engineering and customer success teams.
• Proactively identify and report potential system issues to engineering for resolution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a field service or remote technical support engineering role.
• Strong background in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and/or electrical issues.
