About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to enhance the in-store presentation and customer appeal of their retail locations in and around Southampton . This role is crucial in translating brand identity and product stories into compelling visual displays that drive customer engagement and sales. You will work collaboratively with store teams and the marketing department to ensure consistent brand execution across all touchpoints. This hybrid role allows for remote planning and design, with essential in-store implementation and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement attractive and effective visual merchandising displays in line with brand guidelines and seasonal themes.
• Create compelling product presentations that highlight key items and drive sales.
• Collaborate with store managers and staff to ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained consistently.
• Develop and manage store layout plans and fixture placements to optimize customer flow and product accessibility.
• Stay informed about current retail trends and competitor activities to ensure displays remain fresh and relevant.
• Provide guidance and training to store staff on visual merchandising principles and execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar creative role within the retail sector.
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful visual merchandising projects and retail display designs.
• Excellent understanding of color theory , spatial design, and brand aesthetics.
• Proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
