About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join their team in Sunderland . This role is critical in shaping the in-store customer experience, ensuring that our client's products are presented in an appealing, engaging, and brand-aligned manner. You will be responsible for creating visually stunning displays that drive sales and enhance the overall store aesthetic. This position requires a keen eye for design, a passion for retail trends, and the ability to translate brand strategy into compelling visual presentations that capture customer attention and encourage purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement captivating visual merchandising displays across the store, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Create and maintain compelling window displays that attract customer attention and drive footfall.
• Ensure all product displays are well-organized, appealing, and kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
• Collaborate with the retail management team to plan and execute seasonal campaigns and promotions.
• Stay updated on the latest visual merchandising trends and competitor activities.
• Manage and maintain visual merchandising props and fixtures, ensuring they are in good condition and appropriately utilized.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a related creative retail role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative display design and execution.
• Excellent understanding of retail presentation principles and colour theory.
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into impactful displays.
• Good spatial awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
