About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to enhance the brand's aesthetic and customer appeal in their retail locations in and around Southampton . This role involves creating captivating in-store displays and store layouts that drive customer engagement and sales. Working in a hybrid capacity, you will spend time both on-site at various locations, implementing displays, and remotely planning and coordinating visual strategies. You will collaborate closely with marketing and retail teams to ensure brand consistency and impact across all touchpoints in the Southampton area.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement compelling visual merchandising strategies across store floors, windows, and displays.
- Create attractive and engaging product displays that highlight new arrivals and key promotions.
- Ensure all visual merchandising adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent aesthetic.
- Collaborate with retail staff to train them on visual merchandising standards and ensure proper execution.
- Monitor display effectiveness and make adjustments as needed to optimize customer flow and product visibility.
- Source props and materials needed for displays within budget constraints.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar visual display role.
- Strong sense of style, creativity, and an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in store layout design and display techniques.
- Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into effective visual presentations.
- Excellent spatial reasoning and planning skills.
- Willingness to travel to various retail locations in and around Southampton and work flexible hours, including some weekends.
