Visual Merchandiser

About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to enhance the in-store presentation at their Newcastle upon Tyne location. You will be responsible for creating compelling visual displays that attract customers and drive sales, translating brand aesthetics into engaging store layouts. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of current retail trends, and the ability to work independently to bring creative concepts to life. You will work closely with the store team to ensure displays are consistently updated and aligned with marketing campaigns, contributing significantly to the overall brand image and customer appeal.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute visually appealing product displays, window presentations, and in-store layouts.
• Interpret seasonal trends and brand guidelines to create captivating visual merchandising concepts.
• Collaborate with store management to plan and implement display changes according to promotional calendars.
• Ensure all visual merchandising adheres to brand standards and safety regulations.
• Manage and maintain visual merchandising props, fixtures, and materials.
• Train store staff on visual merchandising standards and execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a related visual display role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative display design and execution.
• Excellent understanding of color theory, space planning, and retail design principles.
• Proficiency with design software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A passion for fashion, retail, and creating impactful customer experiences.
