Visual Merchandiser

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join their dynamic retail team in Cardiff . This role is responsible for creating visually appealing displays that attract customers, enhance the brand image, and drive sales. You will work closely with the store management and marketing teams to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into engaging in-store experiences. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, a strong understanding of retail trends, and the ability to execute plans effectively within store constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement compelling visual merchandising displays according to brand standards and seasonal campaigns.
• Create and maintain attractive window displays, in-store layouts, and product arrangements.
• Collaborate with store teams to ensure displays are consistently executed and maintained.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels to support merchandising efforts and prevent stockouts.
• Stay updated on the latest visual merchandising trends and competitor activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in visual merchandising or a related creative field within retail.
• Strong artistic and design skills with an excellent eye for detail and colour.
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into effective displays.
• Proficiency with basic design tools or software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
