Visual Merchandiser

About the Role

Our client is searching for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to enhance the store presentation and brand image in their Leeds location. You will be responsible for designing and implementing captivating visual displays that attract customers and drive sales. This role requires a keen eye for aesthetics, an understanding of retail trends, and the ability to translate brand strategy into compelling in-store experiences. You will work closely with the store management team to ensure displays are aligned with marketing campaigns and seasonal themes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative visual merchandising strategies for store interiors, window displays, and promotional areas.
• Create attractive and engaging product displays that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Ensure all visual merchandising elements are maintained to a high standard, including cleanliness and stock levels.
• Collaborate with the store management team to plan and execute seasonal campaigns and product launches.
• Stay updated on current visual merchandising trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Train store staff on visual merchandising standards and best practices where applicable.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar visual display role within retail.
• Strong creative flair and a good understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial arrangement.
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into impactful displays.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using design software is a plus.
• A passion for retail, fashion, or product presentation.
